Sisters and Brothers, here and abroad. The People’s Democratic
Movement (P.D.M) congratulates you on our country’s attainment
of 31 years of political separation from our former colonial power,
Britain. And we thank God for allowing these years to pass by
without subjecting us to a major social catastrophe, as has
